KGF CARS was set up in 1997 as a sole trader by Ken Ford. After leaving the police force with a handful of police driving classifications, and a passion for being "out and about", Ken set up the business in Andover. The company's first contract was to provide driving services to the Mayor of Test Valley and the business has grown organically ever since. Today KGF Cars is a family-run business which employs 4 full-time drivers to manage the fleet of 6 executive vehicles. All our drivers are CRB checked, fully licensed and insured, and the company puts many of our drivers through NVQ level 2 training. Drivers are suited on all journeys. "We pride ourselves on being a family-run local business." Ken Ford, Proprietor Drivers carry out regular inspections on their vehicles and ensure every customer has bottled water, sweets and a newspaper available. Most of KGF CARS customers have been with the company for around 15 years because of our high attention to detail. All our customers are confidential and we never share information about who we drive for. For this reason we are not able to give customer testimonials. We are the only company in Andover to provide such an excellent level of executive service.

KGF Cars will require exact pick up and destination of journey, time required and number of passengers when booking. Bookings via Email are preferred. Once the booking is received Email confirmation and booking number will be allocated via return Email. Additional requirements should be identified on the booking confirmation. If you wish to make changes to your booking after we have issued a booking confirmation, we will do our best to help you (late changes to bookings should be requested no less than 24 hours prior to the journey). We will make every effort to accommodate last minute changes, but can make no guarantees.
Fixed rate hire shall commence from the moment the vehicle leaves the office until the vehicle returns to the office on the completion of the booking.
KGF Cars offers full comprehensive chauffeur hire cover, to all passengers whilst using their services. We strongly recommend our clients take out their own travel insurance.
We shall not be liable for any loss or delay, caused as a result of the following: strike action, industrial disputes, riots, political unrest, hostilities, war or the threat of war, terrorism, fire, flood, technical /weather problems with airlines or ferry operators, weather conditions or any other event beyond our control. KGF Cars does not accept responsibility for injury, sickness or death of passengers.
Payment can be made by cash (in person). We accept all major Debit / Credit cards with a charge of 3% being added to the final total. We require a £50 deposit for all wedding car bookings with the balance due in full 1 month before the wedding date.
All deposits are non-refundable in event of a cancellation occurring. Bookings cancelled with less than 2 hours notice will be charged at full rate. Bookings cancelled with less than 3 hours 50% charge applies.
Parking, congestion charging, toll or hotel charges (if necessary) will be added to clients invoice at cost. Magazines and complimentary mineral water will be available in the vehicle throughout the duration of the journey. Additional collections and drop-offs, not on original booking, will be charged on an individual basis.
Any member of the party acting in an antisocial manner, causing unwarranted distraction to the driver, or generally causing concerns regarding safety, will be asked to leave the vehicle, and seek alternative transport to their destination. No refund will be offered in these circumstances.
Any damage or soiling, caused by the client or a member of their party, will incur a £150 charge and the total cost for the repair, including loss of revenue whilst the vehicle undergoes any necessary repair work. Please note: KGF Cars carry out a strict non-smoking policy in the vehicle. However additional time can be added to the journey for smoking breaks, but advance notice must be given at time of booking.
All flight arrivals will be checked 2 hours prior to scheduled arrival. The first hour after landing is free of charge and parking will be charged at cost. All passengers will be met in the arrivals hall by a suited chauffeur with a clearly printed sign board unless agreed otherwise. KGF Cars cannot be held responsible for delays in collecting passengers where conditions are beyond our control such as lost baggage or customs and any waiting after the first hour will be charged at £20 per half hour.
KGF Cars reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. All clients shall be informed prior to any changes being implemented.
